Old Drugs, New Trends Presentation

Why we need to engage the whole community in prevention.

Please join us this Thursday, April 27, from 6PM – 8PM at Sunnyside High School for a special presentation. Daycare and translation will be provided.

Doors open, and light refreshments (tamales!) will be provided at 5:45PM. The presentation will start at the Media Center at Sunnyside High School.

One of the most dangerous public perceptions has to be,
“I did it when I was a kid, and I turned out fine.”

Novel and re-imagined products and devices pose new threats to the next generation of teens and young adults. Awareness is only part of the solution, but it will take the entire community to address this growing trend.

Join us to learn more about what you can do and what’s available here in our community. This presentation is for adults and youth ages 14+.

Come learn from professionals:

  • Tall Cop Says Stop team,
  • Sunnyside Police Department,
  • United Family Center,
  • Sunnyside High School/Educational Service District 105, and
  • Sunnyside United-Unidos.
